Chocolate Macadamia Biscuits

Yummy version of the ‘bought biscuit’

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter, softened
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C castor sugar
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 3/4 C self raising flour
  • 3/4 C macadamia nuts, chopped roughly
  • 200 g chocolate buttons, chopped roughly

Directions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.

  2. Ad flour, nuts and chocolate and mix until smooth.

  3. Place balls of dough onto paper-lined tray, press with fork to flatten slightly.

  4. Bake at 170oC approx 15 minutes.

  5. Leave on tray couple of minutes to firm up, then cool on wire rack.
