Creamy Corn Soup

Ingredients
- 1TBSP butter
- 6 scallions
- 1 stalk celery, chopped small
- 2 cups corn
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk
Directions

Melt butter in medium saucepan.

Add scallions, celery, corn, salt, basil.

Increase heat to medium. Stir and cook about 8 minutes.

Add 1 cup broth and heat to boil.

Decrease heat to low, cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Soup to blender and purée until smooth. Pour in milk. Reheat in saucepan.
