Ingredients
- Chop to desired size, combine and brown on med/high:
- 1-2 lbs. pork
- 1 Goyeya mild Portugese sausage
- 2 T. achoite oil
- Mince:
- 1/2 medium bell pepper
- 2 med. oregano leaves
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch Chinese parsley
- Combine and add all vegetables to pork ~ cook 5 minutes. Add 2 cans tomato sauce and 1 can gandule beans.
- Add the folling and salt, bringing all to boil:
- 3 c. rice
- 2 c. water
- Lower to simmer after.
- After 10-15 minutes, when the beans are on top of the rice, gently mix.
