Zesty Carrots

Grandma used to make this every Thanksgiving

Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • 2 T grated onion
  • 1/2 C mayo
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1 T butter
  • 1/2 C liquid from carrots
  • 2 T horseradish
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 C dry bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Slice and cook carrots until tender.

  2. Mix onion, horseradish, mayo, water, salt, and pepper.

  3. Mix carrots in, pour into a greased casserole.

  4. Butter bread crumbs and spread on top.

  5. Bake @ 375 for 20 min.
