pecan pies

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup of pecans chopped
  • 1 - 9" pie shell unbaked or 8 small pie shells

Directions

  1. heat oven 450

  2. cream together melted butter and sugar

  3. blend in corn syrup and vanilla and then add eggs. Add pecans. Add to pie shell 2/3 full.

  4. cook 10 min then reduce and bake for 30 min.
