Ingredients
- 3 chicken breast halves, or equivilent of chicken tenders
- 1 can Progresso Italian Bread Crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- Olive oil as needed (original recipe called for vegetable oil...I like olive oil and it is healthier)
Directions
-
Combine milk and egg, mixing to form an “egg wash”.
-
Cut chicken breasts or tenders into nuggett sized pieces or strips.
-
Dip chicken into egg wash, then into bread crumbs. (You won’t need the whole can.)
-
Place on ungreased cookie sheet with sides on pan.
-
Drizzle oil around pieces of chicken nuggetts, try to avoid getting oil directly on breaded chicken.
-
Place in 375 degree oven. Bake for about 15 minutes if oven is pre-heated.
-
Remove from oven and turn over each piece of chicken. Return to oven for another 15 minutes.
-
Remove and eat!
