Totsy’s Pralines

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup white Karo
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups pecan pieces
Directions

Boil together the first 4 ingredients until when dropped into a small bowl of ice water candy will be almost of caramel consistency or will roll into a ball. (Soft ball on your candy thermometer.)

Remove from fire, cool 15 minutes.

Then beat with a heavy duty mixer until creamy and thick. Add vanilla, margarine, salt and pecans.

Drop by teaspoon onto buttered wax paper.

They will be ready for storage in half hour.
