Chi Chi Dango Mochi

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mochiko
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 can coconut milk (12 oz)
  • Food coloring

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl

  2. Add liquid ingredients and mix thoroughly with whisk

  3. Pour into greased 9×13 inch pan

  4. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour

  5. Remove foil and cool for 3-4 hours

  6. Cut with plastic knife

  7. Coat in potato starch
