Cherries Supreme

Ingredients

  • 1 can tart water-packed cherries
  • 1 9 ounce box white cake mix (that is one of those small 1/2 box mixes)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Add sugar, corn starch and vanilla to cherries, mix thoroughly.

  2. Cook stirring constantly until thickened…you can add some red food coloring if the cherries aren’t real red.

  3. Pour into 9 inch cake pan.

  4. Crumble dry cake mix over cherries.

  5. Melt margarine and pour over mixture.

  6. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
