Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Don’t tell your guests what’s in the crust. Make them guess.
Put the pretzels in a big plastic baggie and crush with a rolling pin.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups pretzels crushed
- 3/4 cup butter melted
- 6 ounce package strawberry jello
- 1 16 ounce bag frozen strawberries, sliced, without juice (These are the frozen in a bag, not the sweetened frozen in a box.)
- 1 cup sugar
- 9 ounce Cool Whip
- 8 ounce cream cheese softened
- 2 cups boiling water
Directions

Lightly spray a 9×13 inch dish with vegetable cooking spray.

Combine 2 tablespoons sugar, crushed pretzels, and melted butter.

Press into baking dish.

Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees.

Chill.

Mix 1 cup sugar, cool whip and cream cheese.

Spread on chilled crust.

Mix gelatin, boiling water and sliced strawberries.

Pour on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Chill until firm.
