Milagu Kozhambu

Ingredients

  • small onion - 15 cut into 1/2
  • poondu - 10 cut into 1/2
  • tomato - 3 cut to small pieces
  • tamarind - lemon size
  • chilii powder - 1 1/2tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
  • varuthu araika in oil
  • pepper - 2tbsp
  • jeera - 1tbsp
  • dhania - 1tbsp
  • kasakasa - 2tbsp
  • add coconut at the end after switching flame off- 2tbsp

Directions

  1. In oil add mustard, vendhayam, jeera & splutter.

  2. Add onion, poondu, tomato, curry leaves, salt and saute for a while.

  3. Then add tamarind and the grounded mixture.

  4. Cook until thickens.
