Mexican Black-Eyed Pea Soup

Ingredients
- 3 cans Black Eyed Peas
- 1 tube of Owen's Pork Sausage
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes, do not drain
- 2 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Directions

Cook pork sausage: crumbled, browned and drained

Add onion, bell pepper, celery

Cook until vegetables are limp

Add remaining ingredients

Cover and simmer for at least 30 min
