Lemon Chess Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • grated rind of 1 lemon (none of the white part)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 pastry shell

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients for filling in order given.

  2. Pour into pie shell.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set.

  4. Do not over bake.
