Ingredients
- 3 large baking potatoes
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease or olive oil
- 1/4 cup onion diced
- garlic salt
- foil to make pack
Directions

Peel potatoes and cut into thick french fry strip pieces.

Grease foil and place potatoes on the foil.

Drizzle just a little oil over potatoes.

Add diced onion.

Sprinkle with garlic salt.

Close up top and one end of foil pack.

In the open end pour about 2 tablespoons water to make steam.

Close up the end of the foil pack being careful to leave air room for steam or your potatoes will burn and not cook.

Place on top rack of grill for 30 to 45 minutes. If camping place in white hot coals.

Open foil pack carefully.
