Easy Butternut Squash

Ingredients
- 1 medium butternut squash
- salt
- butter
- light brown sugar
- water
Directions

First wash outside skin of squash.

Cut squash in half length wise. Clean out seeds and strings if any.

Place upside down in a microwave dish.

Add about 1/2 inch water to dish and just a little salt to water.

Cover with saran and vent by poking a couple holes in saran.

Start by setting microwave to 8 minutes, check to see if done. Microwave more if needed. Remember it will continue to cook a little so be careful not to over-cook.

Flip squash over and dot inside with butter and sprinkle with just a little brown sugar…not too much

Place back in microwave and heat just until butter is melted.

Serve, let each person scoop out their own.
