Strawberry Cream Cheese Buttercream

Ingredients
- 125 g cream cheese, at room temperature.
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature.
- pinch salt
- 2 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1/3 cup strawberry jam
- 1 tsp grated lemon, orange or lime zest
Directions

Beat together cream cheese, butter and salt until creamy.

With mixer on low speed, gradually beat in icing sugar.

Increase to medium-high and beat until light and fluffy.

Beat in strawberry jam and lemon zest.

Spread frosting over cooled cupcakes; refrigerate until ready to serve.
