Ingredients
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c butter softened
- 1 c pecan halves
- 2/3 c butter
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar
- 1 c (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
Directions

In a mixing bowl, beat flour, sugar, and butter on medium speed for 2-3 minutes.

Press firmly into an ungreased 13×9×2 in baking pan.

Arrange pecans over crust.

Combine butter and brown sugar in a heavy saucepan.

Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Pour over pecans.

Bake at 350 for 18-22 min, or until bubbly.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top; let stand for 3 minutes.

Spread chocolate, but allow some chips to remain whole.

Cool completely; cut into small squares.
