Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients

  • 13 oz (1 can) evaporated milk
  • 4 c sugar
  • 2 c peanut butter
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 c (7 oz) marshmellow creme
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Get all supplies out and properly measured before starting. Ensure you have the spoons/utensils you need to put the ingredients in, as speed is important.

  2. Boil together evaporated milk, sugar, and butter to soft ball stage (7-8 min to a temp of 245 – 250). Soft ball stage means that if you dropped a bit of the fudge into water, it will form a soft ball rather than falling apart. This is the key step.

  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, marshmallow creme, and vanilla

  4. Stir until well blended

  5. Pour into buttered 9×13 in pan

  6. Cool

  7. Cut into squares
