Ingredients

• 1 1/4 c light corn syrup
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1/3 c baking cocoa
• 1/3 c all-purpose flour
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 3 eggs
• 3 Tbsp butter, softened
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 c chopped pecans
• 1 unbaked pie crust (9 in)
• whipped cream, optional

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the first eight ingredients until smooth

2. Stir in nuts; pour into pie shell

3. Cool completely

4. Garnish with whipped cream if desired
