Ingredients
- 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, shortening
- 1 square, unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 TBSP instant coffee
- 1 tsp clear vanilla extract
- 4 cups confectioners sugar
- 2 TBSP milk
Directions

In a large bowl, cream shortening and butter

with electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Add melted chocolate, instant coffee and vanilla, mix well.

Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed; scrape sides and bottom of bowl often.

Icing will appear dry, add milk beat @ medium speed until light and fluffy.
