Soft ginger cookies

These stay soft , not like ginger snaps, more like snicker doodles

Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 4 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups shortening ( butter)
- 1/2 cups molasses
- 2 eggs
Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Mix dry ingredients in larger bowl.

Mix butter,sugar,and eggs one at a time. Add molasses using a mixer.

Mix wet ingredients into the dry.

Roll into balls,roll in sugar. Bake on cookie sheet spacing about 2 inches apart. Take out at about 10-11 min & let sit on cookie sheet for 1-2 min to set. Then remove to a rack to cool completely .
