Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1-2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a medium to large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth and melted.

  3. Whisk in the cream cheese.

  4. Season with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  5. Bring to a good simmer and whisk frequently until sauce thickens (around 25 minutes).

  6. Stir in cheese until melted in.

  7. Remove from heat and add any more seasoning if necessary.
