Lamb Meatballs

Use instead of lamb/goat pieces in Lamb Curry recipe

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 red onion, diced small
  • 2 serrano peppers, diced small
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 tsp clove, ground
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in large bowl

  2. to 1.5" rounds

  3. Heat 3 Tbsp oil in large pan over medium heat. Add meatballs to pan and cook for 3 minutes, turn over and continue to cook.

  4. If adding meatballs to curry sauce , do not cook through. Add meatballs to blended ingredients and allow to simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

  5. Alternate method of cooking: Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, until no longer pink.
