Green Masala for Lamb Curry

Can be used with lamb meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 serrano peppers, chopped
  • 8 black peppercorns
  • 5 garlic pods
  • 1 cardamom pod
  • 2 cloves
  • 1" cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 8 cilantro stalks
  • 4 Tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp peanuts (?) puricadle

Directions

  1. Blend all masala ingredients raw. This is a thick masala

  2. For lamb pieces: Fry lamb slightly, add masala and pressure cook or slow cook until meat is tender.

  3. For lamb meatballs: Add half cooked balls to masala and cook slowly

  4. Add lemon juice before removing from heat.
