Grilled Cheese & Apples

(from cokerlj’s recipe box)

Haven’t tried.

Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Bread (the type really doesn't matter. I've used low calorie whole wheat, and just about any kind of bread. Just make sure it's not too thick because you don't want it to be cheesy bread but grilled cheese.)
  • Cheese: goat cheese, cheddar, and brie.
  • 1 apple, cut into thin slices. I prefer the green kind of tart apples that will cut into all the cheesyness.

Directions

  1. Put plenty of butter on both sides of your bread.

  2. Grill on one side and flip over…working quickly…add cheese on both grilled sides.

  3. Put the cheddar on one, brie on the other, and then sprinkle the goat on top of both. Make sure the heat is not too high so the bread doesn’t burn before the cheese melts. You can put a lid, or cookie pan, or whatever else you found in your kitchen on top of the sandwiches to help melt the cheese. Give it a minute or until whenever the cheese is melty.

  4. Top one side off with the apple slices.

  5. Put one slice on top of the other. Enjoy
