Donna’s Refrigerator Pickles
(from RV Brat Recipes’s recipe box)
These will keep up to a year in the fridge. Let stand for 5 days before opening.
Ingredients
- 8 to 12 unpeeled cukes - sliced
- 1 onion - sliced
- 4 C sugar
- 4 C vinegar
- 1 and 1/3 tsp turmeric
- 1 and 1/3 Tbsp celery seed
- 1 and 1/3 Tbsp mustard seed

Pack sliced cukes in glass jars. I use half gal size canning jars, but you can use several small jars.

Mix all ingredients VERY well and pour over cukes. Make sure the cukes are all covered in the jar and put in the fridge. Then leave them alone for 5 days before tasting.
