Dixie Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 40-50 Medium Mushrooms
  • 1 cup Progresso Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp. Chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. Sweet basil
  • 1/4 c. melted butter or cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Wash mushrooms and trim off tips. Take off whole stem and chop enough stems for 1/2 cup.

  2. Combine bread crumbs, garlic, cheese, basil, salt, pepper, chopped mushroom stems and melted butter.

  3. You may add more melted butter if necessary. Mixture should be slightly moist. Fill mushroom caps with mixture.

  4. Broil till brown.
