Homemade Granola

Easily modified. You can just use 1 C honey if you would rather.

Ingredients
- 7 1/2 C regular oats
- 1 1/2 C oat bran or steel cut oats
- 1 C coconut, unsweetened
- 1/2 C almonds, chopped
- 1/2 C cashews, chopped
- 1/2 C sunflower seeds
- 1/2 C pumpkin seeds, hulled.
- 1/2 C pine nuts
- 1/2 C raw honey
- 1/2 C sorghum or molasses
- 1/4 C coconut oil
- 1/4 C water
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 C dried fruit -raisins, dates, craisins, cherries, golden raisins, currents, blueberries, etc. Mix & Match!
Directions

In a pan on the stove, heat the water, add the salt and stir until dissolved. Add the coconut oil and honey and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat.

Preheat oven to 275-300 degrees.

Combine all ingredients except for the dried fruit in a large mixing bowl.

Drizzle the Honey/Oil mixture over the dry ingredients.

Stir well to coat.

Divide this mixture into three 9×13 baking pans or put all into a large roaster oven.

Bake for approximately 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

After cooling, add the dried fruit.

Store in air-tight containers.
