Chicken Tetrazzini Casserole

Ingredients

  • 7 oz. uncooked spaghetti
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 8 oz. pkg. (3c) fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 2 c chicken broth
  • 3/4 c half and half
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 c cubed/cooked chicken
  • 3/4 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1 -2 tsp. parsley

Directions

  1. at oven to 350. Cook spaghetti.

  2. Melt butter, add mushrooms, cook.

  3. Stir in flour, cook 1 min. until smooth an bubbly, stirring constantly. Gradually add chicken broth, stir & cook until thickened.

  4. Add half and half, 1 tbsp. parsley, salt, nutmeg, and pepper. Mix well.

  5. Add chicken & spaghetti, toss.

  6. Pour into 13×9 baking dish. Add cheese

  7. Bake at 350 for 30-35 min. Add parsley.
