Turkey & Veggies in Cheesy Pastry

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c flour divided (1c, 1/3 c)
- 1/4 tsp. salt divided (1/8 &1/8 tsp.)
- 6 tbsp. butter divided (4/2tbsp.)
- 1/4 c shredded Cheddar
- 2 tbsp. water
- 14 oz. can chicken broth
- 1 c half and half
- 1 tbsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 c chopped turkey
- 16 oz. pkg. frozen peas & carrots
Directions

eheat oven to 350.

Combine 1 c flour & 1/8 tsp. salt.

Cut in 4 tbsp. butter to get coarse crumbs

Stir in cheese. Add water, 1 tbsp. at a time.

Stir until ball forms. Wrap in plastic.

Refrigerate 30 minutes

Melt 2 tbsp. butter. Add 1/3 c flour.

Stir until bubbly. Gradually add broth.

Stir in half and half.

Cook 5 min., until thick, stir constantly.

Add bouillon, salt, pepper.

Cook & stir 1 min. until dissolved.

Place turkey/veggies in 2 qt. dish.

Cover w/ prepared sauce.

Roll out dough into 11" circle. Put over dish.

Cut slits in top.

Bake 1 hr, until browned.
