Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp applesauce
• 1 egg white, beaten
• 2/3 cup strawberries, diced
• 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F; grease muffin tin

2. In a large bowl, gently toss flour, baking soda, and cinnamon

3. In a separate bowl, mix sugars and applesauce together until no lumps remain; add egg white until fully incorporated

4. Add wet ingredients to dry until just combined (do not over-mix)

5. Fold in strawberries and chocolate chips

6. Divide batter among 10 muffin cups and bake 15-20 min
