Citrus Poppy Seed Loaves

Cook in mini loaf tins for cafe style look

Cook time: 25 minutes
Serves 8 people

Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 2 t grated lemon zest
- 2 t grated orange zest
- 3/4 C castor sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 C self raising flour
- 1/4 C ground almonds
- 1 T poppy seeds
- 1/2 C orange juice
Directions

Beat butter, zests and sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs, singly.

Fold in flour, ground almonds, poppy seeds and juice.

Bake at 180oC approx 25 minutes.

Cool.

Ice:

Mix together 3/4 C icing sugar and 1 T orange juice.

Glaze tops of loaves.
