Stuffing

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 90 butter
  • 50g packet pine nuts
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 rashers bacon, finely chopped
  • 125g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 3 cups fresh breadcrumbs (approx. 1/2 loaf)
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C

  2. Cook the onion in the butter till about half done

  3. Add the bacon and mushrooms

  4. Add the pine nuts, just for 30 seconds or so

  5. Add the egg and the breadcrumbs and mix well

  6. Season S & P

  7. Put it in a small loaf pan and put it in the oven for 15 –- 20 mins
