Daigakuimo (Japanese sweet potatoes)

Ingredients
- Japanese sweet potatoes (satsuma-imo)
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. sesame seeds
- Vegetable oil
Directions

Cut sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the oil, and fry the sweet potatoes until brown.

Mix water, sugar and soy sauce in a pan.

Heat over low heat until liquid turns sticky.

Remove from heat, add sweet potatoes and toss.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
