Ingredients

• 1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. yellow or white cake ix
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1/2 cup sugar, divided, plus additional for dipping
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions

1. Combine cake mix; melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, eggs, vanilla and nutmeg in mixing bowl. Blend on low speed with electric mixer 1 minute. (dough will be thick). Cover and chill 1 hour.
2. Roll dough into small balls, then roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. In 350 degree oven, bake 8 to 11 minutes or until cookies are set and bottoms lightly brown.
