Calamari

Ingredients

  • Frozen calamari rings
  • Buttermilk
  • Cornstarch
  • Salt
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • Canola Oil

Directions

  1. Defrost calamari, put in tupperware, cover with buttermilk and store in fridge 12 hours. Dry on paper towels. Mix cornstarch, salt, seasoning in a gallon plastic bag. Add a handful of the calamari and shake. Fry 90 seconds on 375 degrees in deep fryer. Don’t overcook and don’t overcrowd in fryer. Serve with a spicy/sweet dipping sauce.
