Ingredients
- 3 cups pecan halves
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup margarine
Directions
- Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar, a little at a time. Add salt; fold into mixture.
- melt margarine in a 9×13 inch pan. Do not brown. Mix egg white mixture and pecans together then put into the pan with the melted margarine and cook for 45 minutes in a 325 degree oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
