Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup pecan halves
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
- prepare layers of newspaper on a flat surface. Place a layer of wax paper on top. Candy will be very hot.
- Combine all ingredients, except vanilla and bring to a boil. Cook to soft ball stage (238 to 240 degrees) on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Keep stirring until nits no longer come to the top. Quickly drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and allow to cool. Remove from wax paper and store.
