15 Minute Microwave Caramels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. In a large (10 cup capacity) microwave safe glass bowl, melt butter. Stir in all ingredients except milk. Add milk and stir. Microwave on high 13 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir.
  2. Pour hot caramel into a buttered 9 x13 inch pan ( or line pan with heavy duty foil, then butter the foil). Allow to cool. (Bowl will be very hot.) Cut into 1 inch squares and wrap in waxed paper.
