High-Fiber Kale- Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 large orange, peeled and separated
  • 2 Kale leaves, rinsed and stem removed
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

Directions

  1. Pour 1 cup water into blender. Add orange, kale, chia seeds and strawberries. Pour remaining q cup water over ingredients.
  2. Blend until mostly smooth, adding more water if needed.
  3. Smoothie will retain some texture due to the fiber.

  4. Add a cup of oats to make this a filling breakfast smoothie.
