Meringue Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. corn starch
  • Dash cream of tartar
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

  1. Separate eggs. Beat yolks, then mix in corn starch, 1 1/2 cups sugar, vanilla and milk together in a saucepan.
  2. Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
  3. Mix in flavoring of choice and pour into browned pie crust. Allow to cool completely.
