Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup cooked, mashed squash
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- oil for frying
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except oil; mix well.
- Drop mixture by tablespoons into 1/8-inch hot oil in a large skillet. Cook to golden brown; turn, flatten patties to 1/4 inch thickness and brown on other side.
