Ingredients

• 3 cups whole wheat flour
• 2 cups oats
• 1cup peanut butter
• 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1 tsp. baking powder

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
2. Mix all ingredients until it makes a ball of dough. If it is too crumbly, add a tsp. at a time of olive oil until workable but not sticky.
3. Turn dough onto a lightly floured board and knead until it holds together well.
4. Roll kneaded dough into 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into squares, or use a cookie cutters. I have a bone, foot print and hand print cookie cutter, but any fun shape would be okay.
5. Bake 25 minutes until lightly brown. These refrigerate and freeze well. If they last that long.
