Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1cup sifted cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 cup chopped raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter. Beat in sugar and egg.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, allspice, ginger and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture. Fold in raisins and nuts. Blend well.
- Drop by teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes.
