Ingredients

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 1/3 cup butter, melted Plus 1/4 cup butter,
• divided use
• 1 egg
• 3 cups miniature marshmallows
• 2/3 cup light corn syrup
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 ( 11 to 12 oz.) bag peanut butter chips
• 1 jar salted peanuts
• 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine the cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and the egg in a mixing bowl and mix well. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9 × 13 inch baking dish.
3. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with the marshmallows; set aside.
4. In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, the remaining 1/4 cup butter, vanilla extract and peanut butter chips. Stir over medium heat until chips are melted.
5. Spoon over the cake. Allow cake to cool before serving.
