Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. PLUS 1 tsp. cardamom pods
- 1 cup vodka
- 1 Tbsp. saffron threads
Directions
- Using a rolling pin or meat mallet, lightly crush the cardamom pods. Transfer the pods to a lidded jar. Add vodka, cover and let steep for 5 days. On day 5 add saffron and steep 24 hours. Strain mixture through coffee filter in a jar with lid. or pour spout. Discard solids. Bitters will keep indefinitely.
