Quick Cranberry Chutney

Serves 8 people
Ingredients
- 1 bag (12 oz.) fresh or frozen cranberries
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- Pinch salt
Directions
- Combine cranberries, juice, sugar, raisins, cardamom and ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes, stirring, until cranberries have burst and sauce thickens.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in slat. Transfer chutney to a serving bowl and cool for at least 1 hour.
