Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
- Cream sugars and margarine together until light and fluffy.
- Add salt and baking soda, mix until incorporated.
- Add eggs and vanilla, then flour, stir till well mixed.
- Fold in the nuts. Form into a roll.
- Freeze for later use, or chill until firm, then slice and bake at 350 degrees until browned, about 12 minutes.
