Cheese N Sausage Quiche

Ingredients

  • 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 3/4 lb bulk sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • 1 TBSP parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp each - garlic, salt, pepper
  • 1 cup light cream or evaporated milk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425

  2. Prepare pie shell, bake 7 minutes

  3. Remove form oven; reduce heat to 350

  4. In medium skillet, brown sausage; remove and drain on paper towel.

  5. Reserve 2 TBSP fat cook and stire onions, green peppers until crisp tender-about 2 minutes.

  6. Stir in drained sausage. Spoon into shell.

  7. Sprinkle with cheese.

  8. In medium bowl, beat eggs until well blended. Add remaining ingredients; mix well; pour over cheese.

  9. Bake 350 for 30-35 minutes or until knife in center comes out clean.

  10. Cool 5-10 min. Cut into wedges
