Ingredients
- 3 cups (12 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar
- cheese
- 1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 lb. bulk Italian sausage, cooked and
- crumbled
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil or 1 Tbsp. dried
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 cups cubed French bread
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Stir in bread. Transfer to a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.

In the same bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper; pour over bread mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
